Family Session - *B* Family

I have known Kristi for YEARS.  11 years, to be exact.  We used to work together at a hotel in the area, and back then her boys were just...well, BOYS!  They are growing into amazing young men.  She is an amazing mother and is doing a fantastic job with them.  I'll be proud if my son is anything like these boys when he gets older.

Anyway, Kristi and I met at Waverly Glen  to get some photos before Christmas.  It was a lot of fun, and great to catch up with Kristi for the first time in what seemed like forever.

She is drop dead gorgeous, and her boys were naturals in front of the camera.  It helps when the family is just plain beautiful.  Thanks, Kristi, it was a blast, and I can't wait to do it again!

Family Session - *K* Family

I met Emily at our local MOPS group.  (It's a great group of moms, and we meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.  If you want more info let me know!)  We met up for some last minute photos before Christmas, because EVERYONE knows that photos make an awesome gift.  Whether for Christmas, Mother's Day or Father's Day, or even just because.  Everyone loves photos of the important people in their lives.  Emily has two beautiful children, and I had a lot of fun photographing them.

I love the way she's looking at her baby brother in this picture.

I think this was my favorite.  It totally melted my heart.

Emily, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to spend some time with your amazing family.  I hope we can get together again outside of MOPS very soon!

*R* Grandkids

I met the R grandkids and their parents and grandparents on a Saturday morning the beginning of December to do a big family photo for their grandparents Christmas gift.  There are a LOT of kids, and it was a lot of fun.  I love these families, and they have all done a great job of spreading the word about my business for me, and for that I am so very thankful.  Here are some of my favorite shots.

Cousins and best friends - aren't they gorgeous?

2 year old redhead shows his temper when he's not getting what he wants.  :)

Much more serene than he was just a short time before.  He had cookies, and they make everything better.
Thank you again.  You are all wonderful and amazing!

Growing Up

In December my baby sister went to her first formal dance.  I took her shopping for her dress and she looked AMAZING.  Too amazing for a 14 year old girl, if you ask me.  So, I headed to my moms house and got some pictures of her and her friends.

She's a goof, but SO beautiful.  :)

Her friend Sam is also gorgeous.

Had to get the Converse

This is my sister and my cousin with our grandpa.  He is one of my favorite men in the whole entire world.

I love doing photos before a formal dance, they are so much fun!

Family Session - *M* Family

I met Laura and her family through Jen and Rob, whose engagement/family photos I took.  Laura's husband is in the military and is currently in Afghanistan.  She wanted to take some family photos to send to him for a Christmas gift so we met up on a chilly Saturday morning.  She brought her dog, who was such a sweetheart!

Thank you again, Laura!  You have a great family, and I am so thankful for your husbands service and your sacrifice for our country.  I pray for his safety, as well as the safety of all the other soldiers daily, and I am looking forward to working with you again!

Happy Birthday Madison! - Madison Turns One

I met Stephanie and her husband Terry when I was photographing Mya's first birthday party.  Stephanie messaged me on Facebook and we met in November at The Loom in Waverly for her Ice Cream Shoppe Party.  Stephanie was amazing and did all of the decorations herself.  She should be an event planner or something.  Her attention to detail was incredible.

I love this cake!

Thanks so much, Stephanie!  I loved being a part of your celebration, you have a beautiful family and I hope to work with you again soon!
