Family Session - *R* Family

Last week I met up with the *R* Family for an early morning photo shoot.  They are a beautiful family, and I had a lot of fun taking their photographs.  The lighting was perfect, and while the kids had their moments (whose kids don't?  lol) I got some awesome shots and I am so happy with how they turned out.

ATTN Class of 2012!

I love photographing high school seniors.  They are so much fun, and so easy to work with.  Most of the time they are willing to try something crazy in the interest of getting a good picture, so I am pretty bummed that (while I have been pretty busy this summer) I have not photographed a single high school senior yet.

So, I am going to offer the first senior to book and hold their session the following deal:
(20) 4x6 prints
(3) 5x7 prints
(3) 8x10 prints
(5) wallet sets (a total of 20 2x3 wallet prints)
of their favorite pose of the session.

Senior sessions last 1-3 hours at the location(s) of your choice.  Unlimited clothing changes, and a cd of all edited images after the session, all for the AMAZING price of $75.  If you or someone you know is interested contact me ASAP at rachel.kline@gmail.com.

God's Creation

I went out with a friend last night and took some random nature pictures.  We are planning on getting a booth at the Arts Fest next May, and we needed to start getting some pictures so we have a display.  Here are a few that I got, and I just have to say that I am in awe of the beauty that God created in this world.

FREE SESSIONS!!!

I started this photography business a year ago, and since that time I have photographed a newborn, two weddings, several high school seniors, and many families.  I have loved every minute of it!  Since all of you have given me so much joy, it's my turn to give something back.

For every friend you refer to me that books and holds their session, you will receive a $10 credit toward your next session fee.  This means if you refer five friends and they all hold their sessions you will receive a FREE session. How great is that?!?!?  But wait, do you know someone that's getting married?  If you refer a bride and/or groom to me and they book their wedding and pay their deposit you AUTOMATICALLY get a free session!  I will keep a spreadsheet on my computer, so if you refer a friend to me then make sure they tell me you sent them, and I will update my spreadsheet with the information.

Sessions will include roughly an hour of shooting time in a location of your choosing.  (More than 25 miles will incur extra charges to cover the cost of gas, etc.)  After the session you will receive a cd with all of the edited images, as well the right to reproduce the images you want.  Check out my Facebook page under Rachel Kline Photography for more samples of my work.

Just For Fun

I've recently started following Lidia Boicu of Oh So Posh Photography, and she has a truly amazing talent.  She does mostly backlit photography.  I snagged her new Bohemian Symphony collection for Photoshop and I wanted to try out the actions.  I grabbed my Canon and my 50mm f/1.8 lens, and I grabbed my daughter and we headed out to the park.  (After a delicious homemade deep-dish pizza that my hubby made for dinner.)

I've never really asked my daughter to do any "official" modeling for me, I usually just take the camera when we go to the park or for a walk or whatnot, so last night was our first session, so to speak.  She had a blast, and I caught some great shots.  Here are a few of my favorites from last night.

All in all I am really pleased with how they turned out.  This really was my first experience playing around with this lens, and I love it.  Oh, and every single one of these photos was edited using actions from the Bohemian Symphony Collection.  If you like them you should check out Lidia's website that I linked to above.
